Researcher Assistance and Training Project
The fact that the number of universities in Turkey has tripled, and is expected to continue to do so in the years to come, has prompted ISAM to launch a new project in 2012 called the Researcher Assistance and Training Project, aiming to train researchers in the field of Islamic sciences.
Within the scope of the project, proficiency in Arabic or English is compulsory at the acceptance level and the academic proficiency in both languages is to be gained at the end of the program.
Undergraduate Academic Assistance Program
The Undergraduate Academic Assistance Program, which was designed by ISAM in 2006 as a supporting program for the students of theology faculties, has been rearranged as a step towards the Researcher Assistance and Training Project which was initiated in 2012.
The Undergraduate Academic Assistance Program aims to train the students of theology faculties who are planning to pursue academic career. During the program, students can also benefit from academic consultancy. Within the scope of the program, students attend lectures of main disciplines of Islamic studies like Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir and Kalam in which they read classical and modern texts for two years and they can also benefit from ISAM’s library and other academic and social facilities.
